In India plum cake has been served around the time of the Christmas holiday season, and may have additional ingredients such as rum or brandy added No one can say no to this delicious healthy oats cake. No one will also refuse a second helping. Healthy enough to eat for breakfast and eat guilt free INGREDIENTS
raisins 1/2 cup
dry fruit 1/2 cup
oats 1/2 cup
wheat flour 1 cup
oil 2 tbsp
milk powder 1/2 cup
coco powder 2 tbsp
jaggery powder/brown sugar/dates 3/4 cup
fresh cream 3/4 cup
baking powder 1 tsp
baking soda 1/2 tsp
rum/grape juice 1/4 cup
vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
PROCEDURE
1. Grind raisins & dry fruit coarsely and soak in rum
2. Grind oats with jaggery in mixer jar
3. Add oil, milk powder and cream and grind
4. Pour paste in a bowl
5. Add wheat flour, coco powder, soaked nuts in rum
6. Aaa the spices and baking powder | soda
7. Mix well. Add additional milk if dough is dry
8. Pour the paste in mould and bake in microwave
9. Enjoy with maple syrup / orange juice
