Unusual Crunchy Carrot Sandwich Spread, Raita and Salad are described in this video, The base salad mixture is known as Koshimbir in Maharashtra Koshimbir is nothing but salad in Marathi. The traditional Maharashtrian thali consists of any one form of this fresh salad as a side dish. A weight loss recipe full of tase and nutrition


INGREDIENTS

Grated Carrots 2 cups

Roasted Peanuts 1 1/2 cups

TomatoSauce 2 Tbsp

Lemon Juice 1 Tbsp

Curd 3/4 cups

Mustard Seeds 1 Tbsp

Curry Pata 1/2 cups

Green Chilies 4-5 medium

Salt 1 Tsp

Same recipe can be used with grated cabbage or grated cucumber in place of carrot


PROCEDURE

1.Crackle mustard seeds in 1 tsp oil , add and fry curry pata and green chilies then add roasted peanuts 2.Take out the roasted condiments and grind coarsely

3. Mix grated carrots and grounded condiments

4. Make it into 3 parts

5. Add lemon juice to one part to make the salad

6. Add tomato sauce to second part to make the sandwich spread

7. Add curd to the third part to make raita


Use the spread in kathi roll and as stuffing in a paratha also
