INGREDIENTS

MILK 1 LITRE

RICE 1/2 CUP

SUGAR 1/2 CUP

WATER 1/2 CUP

SAFFRON STRANDS 12 -15 (SOAKED IN LITTLE MILK) CARDAMOM POWDER 1/2 Tsp

DRY FRUIT 3 Tbsp

BAKING POWDER 1 PINCH


PROCEDURE

1. Prepare the rice

2. Heat water in the pan and add 3/4th of milk and boil

3. Add soaked rice and boil till they are soft and blended with milk

4. Add remaining 1/4th milk and soaked saffron .

5. Boil till the required consistency is reached

6. Add chopped dry fruits and elaichi powder(an easy way to prepare elaichi powder is described in video)

7. Serve in earthenware for traditional methods
